What We Collect
- Information you give us — name, phone number, email address, vehicle details and anything you write in a message or booking request.
- Service records — what work we did, when, tread depths recorded, and what we stored for you.
- Analytics, only if you allow it — pages visited, approximate region, device type. No third-party analytics script loads until you choose “Allow analytics” on the consent banner.
- Technical logs — our hosting provider records IP addresses and request times for security and abuse prevention.
We do not collect payment card details through this website. Payment happens at the shop.
Why We Collect It
- To answer your enquiry and quote your work
- To schedule, perform and invoice a service
- To identify tires we hold in storage for you
- To meet record-keeping obligations for motor vehicle repair in Ontario
- To understand which pages help people book, if you allowed analytics
Consent
We ask for your consent at the point we collect your details — the checkbox on every form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we’ll stop contacting you, subject to records we’re required to keep.
Under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation we only send commercial messages to people who asked for them. Every one includes who sent it, our address and a working unsubscribe link. Service messages about a booking or a repair you asked for are not marketing and are sent regardless.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share only what is necessary with:
- Our hosting and email providers, to run the site and deliver messages
- Our analytics provider, if you consented
- Tire and parts suppliers, where a warranty claim requires it
- Law enforcement or a regulator, where we are legally required to
Some of these providers operate servers outside Canada, which means your information may be processed under the laws of another country.
How Long We Keep It
- Enquiries that don’t become jobs — 12 months
- Service and invoice records — 7 years, for tax and consumer protection purposes
- Storage records — for as long as we hold your tires, plus 12 months
- Analytics — 14 months
Cookies and Similar Technologies
This site sets no cookies by default and loads no third-party scripts before you choose. We use browser local storage to remember two things: your consent choice, and whether you agreed to load the embedded map. Clearing your browser storage resets both.
Your Rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act you can ask us:
- what personal information we hold about you
- to correct anything inaccurate
- to delete information we’re not required to keep
- to withdraw consent for marketing
Email privacy@xonuzifisub.info or call the shop. We respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted. Paper records at the shop are kept in a locked office. No system is perfect, and we’ll tell you promptly if something goes wrong in a way that affects you.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site for thirty days.
