Why It Matters Where You Get This Done
Road-force, not just spin
A spin balancer only finds weight imbalance. A road-force machine presses a loaded roller against the tire and finds stiffness variation — the reason a “balanced” wheel can still shake at 110.
Torque, not impact
An impact gun run to the stop can stretch studs and warp brake rotors. Every wheel here is finished with a calibrated torque wrench, and the spec goes on your invoice.
We look at the rim too
Half the slow leaks we see are bead corrosion, not the tire. We’ll clean it while the tire is off rather than send you back in a month.
Questions
What is road-force balancing and do I need it?
The machine presses a loaded roller against the spinning tire to simulate the weight of the car. It finds stiffness variation that a normal spin balance can’t. If your vibration survived a standard balance elsewhere, this is usually why.
Do you install tires I bought online?
Yes, same price as tires bought here. We inspect them for shipping damage and check the DOT date code before fitting — if they’re five years old on arrival, you deserve to know.
How long does a set of four take?
About 45 minutes for a standard passenger set, a bit longer for large-diameter or run-flat tires that need the touchless machine.
