Terms of Service
вљ пёЏ Draft for review. Have a lawyer check this before launch. Nothing here limits your statutory rights under Ontario or Canadian law.
1. Who These Terms Are With
Maple Tire Inc., 1180 Castlefield Ave, Toronto, ON M6B 1E9.
2. Prices and Estimates
Prices shown on this site are in Canadian dollars and exclude 13% HST. They are current at the time of publication and may change; the price we quote you for your specific vehicle is the one that applies.
Before we begin work you receive a written estimate. In accordance with Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, 2002 we will not charge more than 10% above that estimate. If the job changes we stop and contact you for authorisation. Estimates are free.
Your replaced parts are returned to you on request, other than parts that must be returned to a supplier under warranty or disposed of as regulated waste.
3. Bookings
A booking request submitted through this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment, until we reply to confirm it. Nothing is charged online.
Please give us at least four hours’ notice if you can’t make an appointment, particularly during changeover season. We may decline future bookings for repeated no-shows.
4. Tire Storage
- Storage is charged per season of six months, in advance. Unused months are prorated if you collect the set early.
- Tread depth is recorded at drop-off and at collection.
- Stored tires are insured against fire, water and theft while in our facility.
- If a set remains uncollected and unpaid for twelve months after the last contact, we will attempt to reach you at the details on file before dealing with the tires under applicable law.
- We can only release tires to the account holder, or to someone the account holder has authorised in writing.
5. Warranty on Our Work
- Labour — 90 days on installation, balancing and repairs.
- Balance — if a vibration returns within 30 days we rebalance at no charge.
- Flat repairs — guaranteed for the remaining life of the tire, provided the tire is not subsequently damaged or run flat.
- Tires — carry the manufacturer’s warranty. We’ll handle the claim with the supplier on your behalf.
- Rim repairs — 12 months against failure of the repair itself.
Warranty does not cover damage from potholes, curbs, road debris, under-inflation, misuse or subsequent work by another shop.
6. What We Don’t Do
We may decline work we consider unsafe — for example fitting a tire with a repair in the sidewall, mounting mismatched sizes on an all-wheel-drive vehicle, or returning a car to the road on a wheel we believe is compromised. We’ll explain why.
7. Vehicles Left With Us
Please remove valuables. We’re not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle. Vehicles left more than 14 days after we notify you that work is complete may incur storage charges.
8. Website Use
Content on this site is provided for general information. Advice here is not a substitute for an inspection of your specific vehicle. We make no guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Text, layout and images on this site are our property or licensed to us.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other consumer legislation.
